Surfboard volume and sizing

Use litres as a guardrail while respecting outline, rails and foam distribution.

Volume helps compare buoyancy, but equal litres can feel completely different across models. Length, width, thickness, foil and where foam is placed determine how a size paddles, holds and responds.

What matters

  • Keep known-good volume as a starting range
  • Choose a realistic size within each model
  • Expect board family to change the useful tolerance

Use this in a real search

Tell Bodhi the conditions you surf, your current board and the feel you want. It can narrow the design direction while keeping current stock checks separate.
